The Raices Cubanas cigar is a collaborative effort between the Raices Cubanas factory in Danli, Honduras and Alec Bradley cigars. The 1941 is the year that Romay Endemaño, the person who runs Raices Cubanas was born. The cigar was launched at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas.

This cigar is going to produce a lot of sweetness. Sweet notes will come from natural tobacco, cherry, and cream. It is balanced nicely by pepper and earth. The pepper has a nice lingering effect on the tongue. The flavors have some nice depth and are full-bodied. The strength starts out medium and inches its way to medium to full in the last third. The burn and draw were very good.

Overall, a good cigar and worthy of a fiver. I think this cigar has some more aging potential and might become a little smoother in time.
