On Cigar Coop, this cigar was recently assessed in depth. We gave a little background on this cigar:

The Alec Bradley Mundial was one of two new lines launched by Alec Bradley Cigars at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show. It was just prior to the trade show that the company announced this new project. According to a story by Cigar Aficionado this past July, the Mundial was a project that was five years in the making, but was put off for various reasons. The company made a decision to final release the Mundial in a limited production run for 2013.

The cigar has a reverse torpedo shape. It vitola is called “Punta Lanza” which means “point of the lance”.

This is one of the best cigars, if no the best cigar to be released by Alec Bradley to date. I found this cigar to be loaded with flavor. It provides notes of dried fruit, natural tobacco, red pepper, and cream. These flavors might not sound the most exciting but they really complement each other well. The flavors are medium to full-bodied – balanced against medium to full strength. I love the reverse torpedo frontmark. I’m not a figuardo fan, but I can smoke this cigar.

This cigar is box worthy now. It has some potential to go to Chuck Norris level. Time will tell.
