The Don Pepin Garcia – 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 2013 is a cigar commemorating the ten year anniversary of the brand that started it all for the Garcia family. It was back in 2002 where Don Pepin Garcia opened up the El Rey de los Habanos factory. One of those cigars that originally came out of that factory was the Don Pepin Garcia Original (commonly called the Blue Label). It would be that line which would serve as an inspiration for this 10th Anniversary cigar.

The packaging is worth mentioning. The band uses a more intricate version of the Don Pepin Garcia Original. The cigars are also packaged in individual coffins. This is the first time this has been done since the My Father Limited Edition 2010 cigar.
While the banding does have some parallels to Don Pepin Garcia Original the similarities stop there. The Don Pepin Garcia 10th Anniversary cigar is completely different than Blue Label. This cigar delivers notes of cocoa, pepper, earth, nut, and grass. There was a nice herbal spice on the retro-hale. The flavors are medium to full-bodied. The strength starts out a bit dialed back as it is in the medium range. By the second have the Don Pepin Garcia 10th Anniversary is smoking medium to full strength.
