Interview: Steven Dru and Joe Torres of ONE 13 Cigars
ONE 13 represents a new boutique cigar company based in San Antonio, Texas founded by two friends, Steven Dru and Joe Torres. The company has launched two new blends, the ONE 13 Natural “Prelude” and the ONE 13 Maduro “Prelude”. In this interview we get a little background on how to company formed, the cigars they currently offer, and where they are heading in the future.

Fernandez Cigars’ San Lotano line. box-press offering that has already been soft-launched and has started to make its way nationwide. It is being launched in three 54 ring gauge sizes (Torpedo, Toro, and Robusto). It adds a Sumatra offering to the San Lotano line.

While it is used to refer to a “darker” wrapper, it actually is a fermentation process that results in a darker wrapper. This differs than an Oscuro wrapper which has a different fermentation process There are two great articles that discuss maduros.
