My “Box Worthy” cigar starting lineup (harder to find)

  1. All-Time Favorite: Don Carlos No3
Delicious cameroon wrapped goodness in a small ring gauge.
  2. Favorite Maduro: Padron Principe Maduro
Like smoking a chocolate bar.  Silky smooth smoke.
  3. Favorite Bargain Maduro: Padron Londres Maduro
Inexpensive, a bit rough looking, but with 2-3+ years of age on them, they rank just as high as the 1964’s to me.
  4. Go-To Daily Cigar*: La Casita Criolla HCB
Great morning smoke with a cup of coffee.  True broadleaf flavor. Rich earthy sweetness but a touch dry. Black coffee is the perfect remedy to the dryness for me.  I also love the rough looking sparkly wrapper leaf on it!  Good price.
  5. Favorite Spicy Cigar:  Opus X Perfection #4.
Leathery, spicy, and raisiny sweetness.  I’m not one to do spice without sweetness.   For me, good right out of the box, but becomes amazing after 3 years.  I just love looking at the band.
  6. *Go-To Daily Cigar runner-up:  Por larranaga Montecarlos
A long thin cuban great anytime of day, shows off the cuban twang well.  A cigar anybody can pick up and enjoy.  La Casita Criolla beat this one out because personally I can access these easier than the montecarlos.  Also the La Casita’s are good right away.  I find the montecarlos need time.

I like that my list consists of cigar that are not hard to find :)  Also, just noticed these all happen to be small ring guages…

Thanks for the contest StogieGeeks and Stogie Santa!
