This cigar was assessed in depth on Cigar Coop.
The Pudgy Mummy is the third vitola in the Tatuaje the Mummy blend. It is a shorter version of the Tatuaje – The Mummy – sharing the same ring gauge as this blend, but the length of the other vitola, the Mini Mum.
I found the Pudgy Mummy to be an excellent smoke at this time. It has notes of natural tobacco sweetness, cedar, pepper, citrus, and nut. The flavors start out medium to full-bodied and progress to full-bodied. The strength is medium to full. The cigar burns very nicely and has an excellent draw.
My experience with this blend is to smoke it when you get it. Over time, I have found the blend to dial back and lose some complexity. It doesn’t get bad, but it definitely loses a bit of its edge. Right now at this time, this is a box worthy cigar.
