This cigar was assessed in depth on Cigar Coop.

Back on Episode 122 of Stogie Geeks, we had Kyle Hoover and Chris Kelly from Ezra Zion Cigar Company and we discussed the Ezra Zion FHK cigar. This cigar was released early last year (January 1, 2014 to be exact). The cigar was a major departure for Ezra Zion in that it was the company’s most multi-national blend to date – incorporating tobaccos from four different countries.

There have been some polarizing reactions to this cigar, but I’m in the camp that really enjoys this cigar. It is a cigar that I would agree with Hoover and Kelly easily pairs nicely with a beer. I got unique flavors of lager malt, chocolate stout, and white pepper. I found this to be medium strength, medium-bodied cigar in the first half that progresses to medium to full in the second half. I found the burn and draw to be exceptional.

I really enjoyed this cigar. This is a box worthy cigar.
