This is a line of cigars that is being geared toward big ring gauge cigar enthusiasts. All of the vitolas in the E.P. Carrillo Inch series have a 60 ring gauge and higher. While it is a regular release, production has been capped at 125,000 cigars annually.
Ernesto Perez Carrillo Jr. is one of those blenders who knows how to make a big ring gauge blend work and the INCH Natural is a great example of this. The INCH Natural delivers flavors of nut, cedar spice, and natural tobacco. There is more nut flavors in the early part of the smoke, while on the back nine there is more spice and natural tobacco.I found these cigars to provide a medium to full strength, medium to full-bodied experience. The burn and draw were excellent.
While I haven’t smoked the 7 x 70 version of the INCH Natural, I found the No. 62 to be the best vitola in this line. I think this has reached its apex in terms of aging. It’s worth a fiver in my book.
