Wrapper: Stalk-Cut American (Connecticut) Habano
Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
Filler: 5 different tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua (Esteli)
Dirty Rat: 5 x 44 (Corona)
Price: $12.00
This was gifted to me by Paul when I visited Rhode Island last week.
Now almost four years old, the Liga Privada Dirty Rat has become one of the iconic cigars in the industry. It didn’t start out like that for me back in 2010, as this cigar was a little young. However this cigar has aged as good as any cigar. The Dirty Rat has notes of mocha, earth, and pepper. The cigar started out medium to full in strength and body – and by the second third, it is kicked up to full for both attributes.
This cigar without question is box worthy.
