Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Wolf: 5 1/2 x 52 (Box-Press Torpedo)
Price: 9.50 ($95.00 in the Pudgy Monsters Sampler)
This cigar was assessed in depth on Cigar Coop.
The Tatuaje Wolf is the third vitola in the Tatuaje The Wolfman blend. It is a shorter version of the Tatuaje – The Wolfman – sharing the same ring gauge as this blend, but the length of the other vitola, the Wolfie.
Overall I have smoked 5 of the 8 blends and I consider the Pudgy Monsters release to be very good thus far. This delivered some notes of citrus, cedar, coffee, orange-citrus, cream and grass. There was a slight astringent flavor to the citrus early on, but it wore off. The flavors were medium to full bodied countered by medium strength. The construction was excellent.
While I have liked other Pudgys better than this, this is still a fine cigar on its own and worthy of a Fiver.
