When the Caldwell Collection was announced, this was the offering that uses the “Negrito” wrapper. The company described this offering as a “truly interesting cigar” . Negrito is one of those wrappers that just doesn’t play well with others, but after a couple of months, the right matches were made.
The King is Dead is offered in four sizes. All are packaged in boxes of 24 except the Broken Sword which is packaged in boxes of 37. The price point ranges from $7.00 to $12.00.
Broken Sword: 5 x 40
Premier: 5 x 50
The Last Payday 6 x 52 (Torpedo)
Supreme: 7 1/2 x 52

I really did like the flavor profile of this cigar, very smooth, blasts of flavor on your palette. The one I smoked, of course, had some construction issues as the draw was tight. I will hold off on my rating, but based on what I have experienced so far, this is a winner.
