Cigar Coop Review: Cohiba Nicaragua N50 En Crystale
Show Video: Episode 133
The Cohiba Nicaragua is significant because it has become the first cigar in this brand to be made in Nicaragua. While the cigar is made in Nicaragua, it is not a Nicaraguan puro. The N50 is a robusto offering that is also offered in tubes.
This was a very enjoyable profile that delivered a nice amount of complexity and change ups. This starts out with notes of cedar sweet-spice and natural tobacco. An apricot sweetness surfaces quickly. The apricot will diminish slowly. The profile also delivers notes of natural tobacco, earth, and pepper. The notes are medium to full-bodied countered by medium strength.
This is a good cigar, but its one that needs some time. I’ve smoked several of these and found they some time after arriving to the retailer’s shelves. Once they arrive, they will smoke great. It’s worth a box split.
