Clint Aaron released his third core line in 2012 called the 262 Revere. 262 Cigars have gained a strong following in the Kentucky/Indiana area. This is probably why Aaron did a limited edition, retail exclusive size for J. Shepherd Cigars of Louisville in the form of a lonsdale. This should not be confused with a lancero format that Aaron announced would be generally available.

The 262 Revere blend is an outstanding one. The lonsdale format does not disappoint. It delivers some classic Nicaraguan puro flavors in coffee, natural tobacco, earth, and pepper. There are even some coffee and cream notes. The flavors have more body than the core line Robusto and Toro Box-Press. I assessed this cigar to full bodied with medium to full strength. In addition top notch construction makes this a joy to smoke.
