We did a detailed assessment on Cigar Coop of the Guerrilla Warfare.

The Guerilla Warfare was a new cigar line showcased by Viva Republica at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show in Las Vegas. Viva Republica was founded by Jason Holly, who owns the El Humidor retail store in Northeast Pennsylvania. The company is collaborating with Guillermo León’s La Aurora factory to make his cigar. Guerrilla Warfare marks the second brand by Viva Republica – joining the Rapture line.

This small cigar was loaded with flavor. It provided notes of black pepper, wood, and natural tobacco. The wood notes had a hickory flavor that I describe more as a “sweet hickory” as opposed to a “fire-cured” hickory. The flavors are robust and full-bodied. It is countered by medium strength.

Construction was outstanding as both the burn and draw were stellar.

The cigars are packaged 50 per box, but given the low price, I assessed this to be box worthy. This might be the best cigar under $5.00 released this year.
