The 685 Woodlawn made its debut as a one size, limited production cigar from Glen Case. Case has said 2,000 boxes of ten have ben produced. This is made in the Charles Fairmorn factory in the Dominican Republic. The name is derived from Case’s address where he grew up as a child in Chicago.

Oveall, this cigar has some nice flavor. It started out with notes of sweet cherry, pepper, and wood. The cigar transitions nicely to a more natural tobacco sweetness with pepper and a bready component. The flavors are full-bodied and the strength is medium to full.

This is another nice cigar by Kristoff – who had a solid 2013 in terms of what the company released. I had less issues with the bigger ring gauge and more with the perfecto. The cigar burned and drew nicely, but I still think I would have preferred a parejo. I also agree with Mark Jr there is a little bit of dryness on the pallet. This is still worth a fiver in my book.
