The Cohiba Comador was introduced late last year as a collaboration between Jay Z and General Cigar Company. The 6 x 52 was the first size that was released and was offered in several luxury package options. This year two additional sizes were added and now the cigar is offered in 20 count boxes.

I must say this might be one of the best cigars released by the General Cigar Cohiba line. This cigar has tons of flavor. It has notes of leather, cocoa, pepper, and actually has a little bit of the “au jus” flavor on the finish. It is a well balanced medium to full strength, medium to full-bodied cigar. The construction was excellent.

This cigar scores very well. The only issue is this does carry a higher price tag. I might consider this to be box worthy, but I want to see if aging maintains this cigar’s excellent profile. For now it’s a box split.
