This cigar was assessed in depth on Cigar Coop.

Very simply, this replaces the Habano wrapper of the Debonaire line with a Connecticut Broadleaf.

With some age under the belt, this cigar is heading to be one of 2014’s best maduros. This combines the qualities of a sweet maduro with notes of cocoa, but gives you the signature Debonaire au-jus/meaty notes. There even is a touch of almond along the way. This cigar is medium to full in strength and body to start and will progress to full by the second half.

Debonaire co-founder Phil Zanghi has mentioned how it has been very important to give this maduro time to sit. This allowed the sugar content of this cigar to emerge. These are hitting their stride right now and it’s a battle with Chuck Norris for one of these.
