This cigar was assessed in depth on Cigar Coop.

The Asylum Dragon’s Milk is a collaboration between Asylum Cigars and New Holland Brewery. The name Dragon’s Milk refers to a beer made by New Holland Brewery in which the beer is aged in bourbon barrels. The Asylum Dragon’s Milk is a limited production cigar that is aged in those same barrels in which the beer had been aging. The end result is a cigar that absorbs bourbon and beer flavors from those same bourbon barrels.

This is one of the most interesting flavor profiles I got on a cigar. Early on I picked up whiskey, char, and oak notes. As the Dragon’s Milk progresses, I started to pick up more chocolate stout notes. The chocolate stout notes eventually display the whiskey. The strength and body are medium, but progress to medium to full in the last third. This cigar also burned like a champ.

Thie was an impressive cigar from start to finish. The best part is how this cigar smoked like a regular cigar as opposed to an infused cigar. The only drawback is the $17.00 price and that’s why its a fiver.
