The Casa Magna Domus Magnus II Trajan is one of three line extensions to the Domus Magnus II line dedicated to “three good emperors” or Rome. Trajan was selected as the first one. It is a unique vitola in that it is pressed on one side, and rounded on the other sides giving it the shape of a “D” when looking at the footer.

The Casa Magna Domus Magnus II was introduced at the 2012 Trade Show. It is a modification to the original Casa Magna Domus Magnus. The original Domus Magnus had a Sun Grown Jalapa wrapper over Nicaraguan tobacco, but that particular wrapper used was limited. The Domus Magnus II brought back the same binder and filler but uses a different Jalapa wrapper.
This is one of the best line extensions to the Domus Magnus II line if not to the Casa Magna brand as a whole. It has notes of chocolate, earth, baker’s spice, and white pepper. The Domus Magnus and Domus Magnus II almost produces a unique sweetness that I can liken to pez candy. The cigar has medium to full strength and is full bodied from start to finish.

Construction-wise – outstanding. The unusual “D” shape did not impact the burn or draw.

Overall a cigar to fight Chuck Norris for.
