The Casa Magna Colorado line was a collaboration between Manuel Quesada and Nestor Plasecnia. In 2008, the two joined forces and created the first cigar out of Placencia’s Nicaragua factory, the Casa Magna Colorado. At the end of the year, the cigar made history capturing Cigar Aficionado’s #1 spot for 2008.
The line was originally positioned as a value-priced line, with the Robusto priced at $5.25.
