Jose Blanco keeps emphasizing that these cigars were blended with lots of flavor. I agree! I smoked several of the Lonsdale Club (6.5 x 44) this week. This stick began with some cocoa, graham cracker sweetness, and mild spice. It quickly transitions about an inch in with some leather and pepper. This seems to increase as the second third progresses but the pepper dissipates on the last third and some cedar and sweetness joins the leather notes. The smoke was flavorful but not overpowering which I feel is a reflection of the skills of the blenders. I did have one of the three I smoked, that had a small void in the first third which forced be to cut past it and re-light. I think it’s a “Fiver” to try.
