A pre-release review of this cigar has been done on Cigar Coop.
The Miró Special Edition Lancero is a line extension to the Miro brand distributed by Kuuts, LLC. Earlier this year, Kuuts announced plans to distribute cigar lines made by Compañia Hondureña de Tabacos in the United States market. Miró represents one of three lines to be distributed by Kuuts. While Miró has been available outside the U.S. for some time, the Special Edition Lancero, this is a limited production cigar that will only be offered in the United States market.
Sometimes I am critical in terms of the hype around lanceros, but with the case of the Miró Special Edition Lancero, this one delivers a solid smoking experience. There is quite a bit of complexity and flavor transitions. I picked up notes of coffee, wood, natural tobacco, pepper, and herbal spice. The flavors start out medium-bodied and increase to medium to full. The strength follows a similar pattern – starting out medium and progressing to medium to full. The burn and draw were excellent.
Miró is a bit of a sleeper. It’s definitely a cigar worth checking out. Since this is pre-release, I do not assign a rating, but most certainly a cigar and a lancero I will smoke again.
