The Camacho Ecuador has recently made it to stores and becomes the 7th core line under the rebranded Camacho “Bold Standard” umbrella. The name comes from the fact that this is a Habano wrapper from Ecaudor on the cigar.
Camacho has touted the bold standard and the Camacho Ecuador without a doubt personifies this. This is the boldest and fullest cigar in terms of strength and body since the rebranded. You really feel the power of this cigar. This cigar has notes of red pepper, cedar sweetness, and earth. The second half surprised me with a chocolate cream note that surfaced. I found great balance overall – and terrific construction. Warning, if you retro-hale this cigar, you will really feel its power.
This has been my favorite of the new Camachos to date – and its a box worthy cigar all the way.
