This is the 2015 edition of the Murcielago introduced in 2015 by Espinosa Cigars. Since Espinosa Cigars did not have the blend provided to them by the factory, the blend had to be reconstructed. While I did have an original Murcielago on hand (see below), that cigar that had much more age on it than the newer version – therefore, I felt comparing one cigar with more age on it to another with less age would not be fair. On top of it, the vitolas were not exactly the same.
Overall, this is an excellent cigar. It’s one that has aged nicely since it was released late last summer. Worthy of a box split.
Wrapper: Mexican Capa Negra
Binder: Undisclosed
Filler: Nicaraguan
Country of Origin: Nicaragua (La Zona)
Noir: 5 x 52
