Wrapper : Ecuadorian Habano
Binder : Dominican/secret
Filler : Dominican/secret
MSRP: $198 for a box of 20
This 6″ perfecto opens up with spice and a blast of flavor that was tough for me to put my finger on. Some will just call it “wood”, but I found it to be closer to roasted nuts. The flavor is really intense, especially in the first third. The cigar settles down and you can pick up a hint of sweetness along with the predominant flavor of roasted nuts. There is a creaminess component to it all as well. If roasted nuts flavor is not your thing, you won’t like this cigar. If you light it up and love that initial flavor blast, you are in for a treat. I believe they did a really nice job getting such a predominant flavor, coupled with spice, out of this smoke. I enjoyed it more that some sticks because the flavor was so intense, really lets you know its there! Curious to see with age how this cigar will shape up too. I say grab a fiver now, and if you really like the flavor go ahead and split a box (or even grab a whole box just for yourself). Great burn and construction too.
