For a detailed assessment of this cigar, see my review on Cigar Coop.
The Chapter One a project that was spearheaded by Litto Gomez’s son Antonio. It is the first chisel in a box-press shape. It is going to provide notes of mocha, red pepper, grass, herbs, and nut. There is a very interesting herbal spice I got on the retro-hale.
When this cigar was announced, this was positioned as the this is the fullest bodied Chisel to date”. I found a cigar that really was mostly medium to full and really didn’t hit full-bodied until the end.
The burn did require more touch-ups that I would prefer, but it did produce a nice white ash early on that transited to a salt and pepper color later.
