This limited edition 6.5 x 52 Torpedo sports a Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. It started with rich tobacco, some coffee, pepper, and some floral notes in the background. On the second third the coffee continued but it became very salty and dry on the palate which I was not a fan of. I had a similar experience with the Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial from 2011. The last third was more enjoyable with some earthy goodness. Construction was awesome and the white ash held for more than an inch and a half before dropping. Overall, i was not a fan of the flavor profile, especially the saltiness. “Try One”
