Wrapper: Honduran Criollo
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican & Nicaraguan
Vitola: Lancero
Size: 6 x 38
I talked about the Hermoso (Robusto) previously here and also recently smoked the 3.75 x 43 No. 5. Both were enjoyable smokes. The Lancero, like the other vitola’s, opened a bit shaky with some bitterness but this did subside and the same creamy wood and pepper profile became evident. It seemed more muted however and the last third brought back some bitterness. Construction was good. In all fairness, I only smoked one, so I am not going to rate it yet but would reach for the Robusto next time.
