This was another attempt to go out of the box in order to try things outside of my comfort zone. Unlike the Big Bad John, this 6×60 was not my favorite. It did have some nice pepper to start, but that dissipated quickly. After that it had a faint creamy and earthy taste. It was not in anyway unpleasant, but not the profile I look for in a cigar. It just seemed to be a little muted compared to what I have tried from the original Padilla stuff. I would say try one if this is your size, and if you’re like me try the Ortega. Try one.
