Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Dominican Republic, Nicaraguan
Wrapper: Ecuador
Vitola: Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52)
I continued my vitola experimentation this week with the Belicoso in the EPC Core Line. Same great flavor and performance as some of the other vitola’s. I thought there was more spice up front with this beli but it quickly settled down and found the familiar groove of flavors (cedar and nuts) that I enjoy with this line. Toasty and enjoyable. Certainly, a “Box Split”.
As a side note; I also tried the Corona Extra (5 5/8 x 46) this week. I expected to get more flavor but it was the complete opposite. Still enjoyable but I will be sticking with the larger vitola’s in this line.
