Gurkha recently sent me a pre-release of a new blend to try. There was no information included on the blend or price point. A box bressed toro, this stick had one of the smoothest wrappers I’ve seen. It appeared to be perfectly rolled and featured a partially closed foot. Construction was a A+ and the draw was absolutely perfect. The profile was a solid Medium/Full and had a nice balance of coffee, chocolate, wood, leather, and some mild spice. Very enjoyable in terms of performance and profile. No rating yet, but I certainly would smoke this again and would be interested in seeing the price point.
William at the Cigar Coop mentions this blend is planned to be released this coming summer.
