Regio: 5 1/2 X 50 Robusto
Noella: 5 1/8 X 42 Corona
Wrapper: CT Broadleaf Maduro
Binder and Filler: Nicaraguan
$10.00 / $8.00
I know that the last show was centered around these 2 smokes, but I have to give my 2 cents in terms about what I think. I have been anticipating this release as much as any other I can remember. Now I have to say that this really is a tale of 2 smokes for me. First the Regios was a dry to me. It did have some nice flavor (earth chocolate and barnyard), but that dryness is what lingered in my mind. The Noella on the other hand was a near perfect smoke. It presented the same flavors, but the complexity is completely different. On that note, the complexity is this smoke is off the charts. The way the cocoa came and went was extremely pleasing. I would smoke one of these Noellas every day, but the Regios is a solid fiver for me.
