I’m sure that most of you are familiar with the San Cristobal line, but I find that it is often over looked. This subsidiary of Ashton has earned its way into having a consistent presence in my humidor. That being said this was the first of this vitola that I have had the pleasure of setting a blaze. This particular specimen was pointed out to me by Stogie Santa as having some age on it. It gave off some notes of earth, spice and some coffee. It also had a balanced spice and a hint of chocolate. Beside that it performed perfectly. Seeing how well these age I would not hesitate to get a fiver maybe two.
