Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican with a hint of Nicaraguan
Size: 6 x 51 Perfecto
We talked to Nomad Cigar Company owner Fred Rewey on last week’s Stogie Geeks episode, so I figured it would be a good opportunity to revisit his first blend. This cigar is made out of a small factory in the Dominican Republic. The Nomad is offered up in seven vitolas. The Fugitive II represents the second perfecto in the line.
This is one of the best burning perfectos I have smoked in quite some time. I categorize the flavor as “Dominican Plus” delivering notes of grass, natural tobacco, sweetness, caramel, and a very distinct dried fruit flavor. Flavors are full-bodied countered by medium to full strength.
