Johnson also said on the December 15, 2012 Kiss My Ash Radio that this cigar would be making a return. Previously this cigar was released in a ceramic jar. Johnson said the Corona Gorda this time would come in a hard plastic jar. The cigar and blend will remain the same, but the cigar will have a different band. Johnson is doing a single large production run of 10,000 jars.

I have to give credit to 50% Flat Tire, tons of great information and an outstanding review:

This Year’s Release: Tatuaje Black Label Corona Gorda 2013 (5 5/8 x 46) — September 2013 — 500 Bundles of 19 Cigars & 10,000 Bundles of 19 Cigars (199,500 Total Cigars) and Number of Cigars to be Released: 1,000 Jars of 19 Cigars (19,000 total cigars)
What can I say, this is hands down the best new release I’ve smoked all year. Quite possibly its the best, at least one of the best, cigars I’ve smoked all year. It has everything going for it. The smoking experience is impeccable. The first few puffs taste awesome, like candy coated with some flakes of pepper. Changes up as you go, nuts, leather, cocoa, espresso, more chocolate, rush smoke. I burned my fingers, never gets harsh, pours smoke, just amazing. This is not a home run for Pete Johnson, this is a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th inning when your down by 4 runs and there is two out. Its that special.
