It’s been no secret that I have been very impressed when it comes to the way Eduardo Fernandez, Paul Palmer, and their team have worked with the San Andres wrapper. They seem to find a way to get the most of this wrapper. With the Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva Maduro Corona Extra, they hit a home run here. This cigar is going to deliver notes of sweet chocolate, citrus, pepper, earth, and leather. These flavors are full-bodied and countered by medium to full strength. The burn wallow maintenance and the draw was right on the money (not too tight, not too loose).
While I didn’t think the original Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva wow’d me, this one did. Easily a box-worthy purchase in my book.
