The Camacho Blackout Limited Edition 2013 the Camacho Blackout Limited Edition 2013.marks the brand’s first new line since its rebranding “Bold Standard” campaign was launched last month. While it is limited edition, there will be a large allocation – there be 1,000 boxes per size (across five sizes for a total of 5,000 boxes and 100,000 cigars).
This cigar is going to provide a lot of dark chocolate, earth, red pepper, and some citrus. The back nine of this cigar was spicy and slightly harsh. This cigar should have no problem fitting in with Camacho’s Bold Standard. Both the strength and body start out medium to full and progress to full by the second half. While the burn and draw were find, the ash was a little bit on the loose side.
To quote Seth from Seth’s Humidor, “it’s an entertaining smoke”. The flavors are good. It’s definitely a “Try One” and if the back nine improves on subsequent smokes it could go up to a fiver.
