This cigar was assessed in detail on Cigar Coop.

The Avo Movement TAA Limited Release marks not only the first cigar that the Avo cigar brand has released for the Tobacconist Association of America, but it marks the first box-press cigar by Avo.

True to Avo form, this won’t overpower you with nicotine. This is a medium strength cigar, however this cigar is a flavor bomb! The flavors are medium to full-bodied and go to full-bodied during the last third. It provides notes of black pepper, caramel, natural tobacco, citrus, and hay. While it doesn’t provide a lot in terms of flavor transitions, each puff provides some great complexity – particularly in the first half. I described it as follows:

There was a very interesting pattern to the way the flavors were drawn from this cigar. The caramel sweetness was definitely more present on the draw. On the after-draw, I detected more black pepper. Once the flavors finished on the pallet, I detected the hay notes. The natural tobacco was omnipresent throughout the draw.

This cigar might get the award for best burn of the year. The burn is so good that even Paul would be pleased. Outstanding draw as well.

This has Cigar of the Year potential in my book for 2013. It at a Chuck Norris level and a true Oasis candidate in my book.
