The Rocky Patel Platinum was one of several releases by Rocky Patel launched at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show.
The flavors of this cigar start out fine. I got notes of coffee and black pepper. A raisin sweetness develops and later some hay notes enter in the background. The last stages of the back nine developed some harshness. The strength and body are both medium to full. While the draw was good, I had some unevenness on the burn throughout this cigar.
I rated this one an Angeler, but it’s enough to have me smoke it again. Hopefully some of the harshness at the end and burn unevenness subsides.
