Wrapper: Honduran Trojes
Binder: Hondruan, Nicaraguan (Double Bnder)
Filler: Honduran, Nicaraguan (four tobaccos with as per Cigar Aficionado, a heavy component of Esteli ligero)
Recommended Vitola: Punta Lanza No. 5 (5 1/8 x 52)
Price: $11.95
This cigar made a late surge to garner a spot in the top ten on my countdown.
This is one of the best cigars to ever be released by Alec Bradley. The flavor profile consists of dried fruit, natural tobacco, red pepper, and cream. The cream builds up in the second half. The flavors are medium to full-bodied and countered by medium to full strength.
One thing I really liked on this line was the vitola shape. Each of the five vitolas are in a unique shape called “Punta Lanza”. This cigar’s shape can best be described as an inverse torpedo.
Here is the full write-up for my assessment of the Alec Bradley Mundial.
