This cigar was featured on an earlier episode of the show, but I never got to formally record my thoughts of this stick. It was originally released at the 2011 IPCPR after being rolled in 2003 and aging. I am not a huge fan of the regular Corojo Preferido, but this is not the original. This cigar has a nice Corojo sweetness paired with a little pepper spice. It also has that characteristic smoothness that you get from aged Dominican tobacco. On top of that the construction is perfect just like all of the other preferidos. I still think that the Diamond is the best of all preferidos, but this is a very close second. Box worthy all day.
