The La Aurora Preferidos Diamond Chicho’s Choice is a 6 x 58 parejo that is based on the La Aurora Preferidos Diamond line. It was one of several limited edition regional releases by Miami Cigar and Company. This cigar was released to six states in the Mid Atlantic area: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. It is named for the area’s sales representative Christopher “Chicho’s” Lenzo – the longest tenured sales representative in the company. This was one of several regional releases that Miami Cigar and Company has released in the past few months.
This cigar isn’t the most complex, but it delivers great flavor. It provided notes of espresso/chocolate and pepper/cedar. This cigar is an absolute powerhouse of strength. This is a full strength cigar out of the gate that gets stronger. I’d put this right up there with some of the strongest cigars I’ve had in the past 18 months. The flavors are also full-bodied.
It’s a very nice cigar. I’d give it a box split since only 150 boxes were produced and it’s one I’d like to smoke again.
