Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Honduran, Nicaraguan
Toro: 6 x 52
This cigar was assessed in detail on Cigar Coop.
The Jaxx LT is one of the three lines brought into the La Sirena portfolio when it acquired Old School Cigars. This cigar filled a gap in the La Sirena profile as it brought in a milder, Connecticut Shade cigar. These cigars will be rebranded Jaxx LT by La Sirena once the current inventory is depleted.
This isn’t an Ecuadorian Connecticut cigar that is going to redefine what a Connecticut its. It is mostly mild to medium in strength (with a slight increase to medium at the end) and medium-bodied notes. I pick up many traditional notes of cream, natural tobacco, grass, and black pepper. There was a slight increase in spice at the end, but it did not overwhelm the blend.
This makes a nice smoke throughout the day, but definitely qualifies as your morning smoke.
