This smoke started off with some pepper and good flavors (couldn’t put my finger on it). It smoked really well, and I love this size! There is little to know about the blend, other than its an Ecuadorian Connecticut. I smoked it in the morning with coffee.
This is a stronger Connecticut shade cigar, a trend we’ve seen from manufactures like My Father and A.J. Fernandez. I’m not a big fan of spice and pepper in the morning, but if you are, this one is for you. However, the cigar “didn’t know what it wanted to do with itself” and presented flavors that were scattered and not perfectly balanced. One thing I do like about a stronger Connecticut is the aging potential, and this one has it. I believe the flavors are there, but need some time to properly meld together.
