Wrapper: Cuban
Binder: Cuban
Filler: Cuban
Belicosos: 5 1/2 x 52
Price: ~$8-$9.00
This is a brand rich in heritage, yet today is almost getting forgotten about in the Habanos landscape.
Like Paul, I thought this was a good cigar, but felt it could have done more. It had notes of earth and grass with a pepper note layered above it. There also were some notes of cocoa that crept in and out. Both the strength and the body were in the medium range.
This cigar did have a tighter draw than I prefer. It wasn’t horrendous, but it did impact the experience. Overall, good flavors, but was hoping for more. It’s a well priced Habanos cigar, so I would smoke it again.
