The Davidoff Year of the Sheep Limited Edition 2015 marks the third installment in Davidoff’s annual limited edition series that pays homage to the Chinese New Year. It was two years ago when the series kicked off with the Davidoff Year of the Snake. This was followed up last year by the Davidoff Year of the Horse. This year’s installment is a belicoso.
The one thing that stands out with the Year of the Sheep is that this one is going to have a classic Davidoff profile flavor-wise, yet will still have its own differentiating factors. This delivers notes of natural tobacco, cedar, black pepper, and grass. There also is a very unique nougat-like sweetness on this cigar. The flavors are fuller and the cigar is stronger than most Davidoff’s – medium to full in strength and very full-bodied.
The Davidoff limited edition Zodiac series is on a pace to becoming one of the best annual limited edition cigar lines I have ever seen. I had this as box worthy now and can see these heading to Chuck Norris territory
