Cigar Coop Review: Quesada Selección España Fabulosos
Show Video: Episode 134
The Quesada Selección España Fabulosos is one of two limited production shop exclusives sizes of the Selección España being made available to Illinois retailer Casa de Montecristo. The Quesada Selección España made its debut in 2011 at the ProCigar festival. The Fabulosos, which measures 7 x 54 becomes the largest ring gauge to be introduced into the series to date.
The Fabulosos puts a whole new spin on this blend. There are some notes of black pepper, wood, sugar cane, and natural tobacco. There was a subtle black tea note but perhaps the most interesting quality was some cream notes – giving this blend a really smooth profile.
From a strength and body standpoint, I found the Fabulosos to be the most dialed back of the vitolas I have smoked to date. I found that this vitola delivered a medium strength, medium-bodied smoke from start to finish.
Overall a great spin on this blend and one that is really enjoyable. These come in ten count boxes and can be found at Top Quality Cigars (the online arm of Casa de Montecristo)
