Interview: Kurt Kendall, 7-20-4
Kurt Kendall always had a fascination for old cigar memorabilia and collected anything he could get his hands on. After years in the industry, he had the idea to bring back the 7-20-4. After acquiring the defunct trademark, Kurt launched the 7-20-4 line and since then has added the 7-20-4 1874 Series, the 7-20-4 Hustler, and the 7-20-4 Factory 57.
Interview: Willie Florez, La Hoja Cigars
Willie Flores comes from a family of cigar makers. In 1962, Carlos Flores fled Fidel Castro’s rule to Miami, FL to found Flor de Flores Cigar Company. At its peak,Flor De Flores became a staple for American cigar enthusiasts, selling over one million cigars during the cigar boom of the 1990’s. His son Willie is now bringing back the brand with La Hoja Cigars.
