Cigar Coop Review: Cubanacan Habano Rothschild

The Cubanacan Habano is one of three blends under the eponymous line made by Cubanacan Cigars. The other two lines are the Cubanacan Connecticut and the Cubanacan Maduro. Consistent with all of the lines by Cubanacan cigars, the Cubanacan Habano was blended by the company’s master blender Omar Gonzalez Alemán.
Actually a very nice cigar at a very nice price. This cigar delivers flavors of sweet natural tobacco, cedar, black and white pepper, and cocoa. The sweetness from the natural tobacco coats the palate very nicely. The cigar is not overpowering – coming in at medium strength, medium-bodied.
The burn was a little more high maintenance than I like in that it needed more touch-ups than I would consider normal. It’s still a nice cigar though – and worthy of a fiver.
