Daddy Mac is the second release in 2016 for Cornelius & Anthony, the premium cigar division of S&M brands. For Daddy Mac, the company teams up with Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory to produce this cigar. This cigar is the second significant La Zona release to use a Brazilian wrapper, but this one is a much darker shade than the Espinosa Laranja Reserva.
This is a cigar that delivers notes of chocolate, dried fruit, wood, natural tobacco, and red pepper. There was a definitely creamy texture to the chocolate notes. The flavors are rich and robust – easily a full-bodied smoke. The strength level remains medium for the first two thirds before going to the last third.
Wrapper: Brazilian
Binder: Ecuadorian
Filler: Nicaraguan
Country of Origin: Nicaragua (La Zona SA)
Corona Gorda: 5 1/2 x 46
Price: $8.50
